Kimberly is a Nationally Certified School Psychologist and Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of Connecticut with over 10 years of experience working with school-age children across a variety of settings. Prior to entering private practice, Kimberly worked as a teacher, athletics coach, and school psychologist. Kimberly’s passion lies in supporting individuals in multifaceted ways, building their life skills and fostering growth socially, emotionally, academically, and intellectually. Kimberly specializes in grief, self-care, sport psychology, and ADHD. 

She holds a Master of Arts and Sixth Year Certificate in School Psychology from Fairfield University. She completed her Bachelor of Arts in English with a minor in Business at Skidmore College, where she competed as a four-year member of the women’s lacrosse team and graduated as the program’s all-time points leader.

As a counselor, Kimberly primarily draws upon Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Positive Psychology, Strengths-Based, and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy techniques. Kimberly is committed to lifelong learning and self-reflection and has adopted the following DBT assumption as her personal and professional motto: “People are doing the best they can, AND they can do better.” She has completed training in Restorative Practices, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, and Grief Counseling. Kimberly has written articles on supporting grieving students and student-athletes in The Connecticut School Psychologist, as well as presented at the 2022 National Association of School Psychologists (NASP) Convention on mind-body health strategies for student-athletes. Kimberly is a member of the Connecticut Association of School Psychologists, National Association of School Psychologists, National Alliance for Grieving Children, Psi Chi International Honor Society in Psychology, Alpha Sigma Nu National Jesuit Honor Society, American Psychological Association, and Children and Adults with Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder. 

Kimberly is a Connecticut native and lives in Norwalk with her husband, son, and Rhodesian Ridgeback. In addition to spending time with family, Kimberly loves to play pickleball and listen to podcasts.
